I’ve been teaching IB Economics for several years, focusing exclusively on helping students navigate HL and SL content with confidence. I support students with exam prep for papers 1, 2, and 3, as well as the IA and EE. My sessions are designed around helping students hit the IB criteria while staying up to date with real-world examples and current economic issues.

I’ve taught A-Level Economics for five years, focusing on exam boards like AQA, Edexcel, and Cambridge International. With a background in global development, I guide students through key concepts like market failure, fiscal policy, and international trade. I support learners in structuring their essays, mastering diagrams, and improving their exam technique across all topics.

I started teaching AP Economics at Gems Wellington Academy and have spent the past few years working with students across the UAE and beyond. I focus solely on AP content and really enjoy helping students understand tricky concepts like monetary policy and supply-side economics. It’s been rewarding to see so many of them build confidence and score highly in their AP exams.

With a degree in Political Economy and over four years of teaching experience, I focus exclusively on the IB Economics curriculum. I help students master key topics like microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the global economy while preparing them for papers 1, 2, and 3. I also support students with their internal assessments and extended essays, using current global examples to deepen understanding.

During my university years, I started tutoring students in Economics and Business. After completing my degree in Political Economy, I moved fully into online tutoring with a clear focus on A-Level Economics. I’m a certified examiner with years of classroom and exam board experience, working mainly with AQA and Edexcel. I help students master content across micro, macro, and application-heavy essays to push for top results.

I hold an MSc in International Development and a BSc in Economics, graduating with distinction from the University of Warwick. During my school years in the UAE, I completed the AP curriculum at Dubai International Academy, earning top scores in both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. My academic interests have always revolved around development policy, international trade, and economic modelling, and I now specialise in tutoring AP Economics students aiming for top results.
